  • Job Description

    Assessment, care and psot procedure follow up of patients undergoing radiology/invasive procedures/cardiac catheterization or receiving sedation in the Radiology/IR department in accordance to am established plan of care and under the direction of the Nurse Manager and Physician.

    Must be willing to cover all areas of Radiology including off-site facilities.

    Coordinate and provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Radiology/IR/Cardiac Catheterization suite.

    Assist Physician with cardiac catheterization or interventional procedures.

    Assit with Breast Health Center biopsies and patient care.

    Job Requirements & Qualifications

    New York Stae Registered Nurse License required.

    Critical Care experience required.

    Current experience in Radiology, Breast Center and Interventional Radiology/Cardiac Catheterization required.

    Cardiac rhythms and moderate sedation experience preferred.

    Knowledge of breast health required.

    Critical course/b-kat mandatory or must be willing to travel off-site for training.
