-The LPN supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Westhampton Primary Care Center.
-Accurately document the health care needs of the patients.
-Utilize equipment and technology to implement nursing interventions and/or treatments according to Hospital practices and policies and procedures.
-Recognize changes in patients’ physical and psychosocial conditions and report to provider ASAP.
-Clarify physician orders as indicated.
-Provide comprehensive medical record documentation that reflects all aspects of care provided; this includes patient vital signs, chief complaint, medication list, allergy list, treatment and or/procedures and patient education.
-Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are supplied and maintained adequately.
-Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse License required.
-Ability to walk, climb stairs and carry supplies/equipment weighing up to 30lbs.
